Crystal Blanton, President, Licensed Underwriter
A North Carolina native, Crystal has a total of 13 years in the Real Estate and Title Insurance fields.  She attended the Paralegal Associates Program at Durham Technical Community College.  Her experience includes employment at both Wake and Orange County Register of Deeds, 7 years as a Real Estate Paralegal, 1 year of Management for a Title Searching Network covering the State of North Carolina and over 5 years in the Title Insurance industry.   Crystal is a partner in Sundown Title and has vast experience in running her own title agency having founded Sundown Title in 2004.
Her experience in Real Estate from all angles provides her with an advantage in the industry as well as a great understanding of the needs of all those involved.

Shannon D. Ormsby, Account Executive
Shannon was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. Her real estate experience has been as a Real Estate Paralegal for 11 years. She moved to Raleigh in 1997 and began her paralegal career with a local Raleigh attorney. After 7 years, she left the industry in 2004 to pursue a degree in Pastry Arts from The French Culinary Institute in New York City. Upon her return to North Carolina, she went back into real estate as a Paralegal and started her side business, Sassy Sweets. She resides in Holly Springs with her Siamese cat, Luna. Shannon joined AES Title Partners in 2008.

Darlisa Thurman, Office Manager, Senior Licensed Underwriter
Darlisa is originally from Queens, New York and relocated to North Carolina with her family in 1992.  After graduating from Smithfield-Selma High School in 1995 she attended Johnston Community College and graduated with an Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal Technology. Darlisa began her career as a Paralegal in a General Practitioner’s office in 1999 and later joined the Banking Industry in October 2001.  In October 2003, she transferred to a Title Insurance Company where she subsequently obtained her underwriters license for North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Darlisa joined AES Title Partners in September 2007.

Tricia Nowell, Licensed Underwriter
Tricia has lived in North Carolina approximately 35 years. She has worked in the Banking Industry for 13 years, in an Appraisers office 3 years and, she has worked as an Assistant Underwriter and a Licensed Underwriter since the mid 1990's. She enjoys the daily interaction with the Attorney's and Paralegals. She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and daughter. Tricia joined AES Title Partners in 2006.

Stacie Hitchens, Assistant Underwriter
Stacie works part-time in our Office and assists our Underwriters with answering the telephones, prior policy lookups, revisions and finals. Our main goal is that Stacie will allow us to provide faster service to you and that she will help to strengthen our Team! Stacie joined AES Title Partners in 2008.
